A site for sore eyes in Alfreton market square…

Our plans for Georgian Church Street property

Our plans for Georgian Church Street property

We’re planning to smarten up a neglected section of the old market square in Alfreton town centre with our design to transform a vacant mini mart into a chic, contemporary optician’s  – a real site for sore eyes!

Looking a little unloved... Church Street's empty con venience store will become a stylish optician's with apartments above it

Georgian building hasn’t had much love for the last few years – but now our scheme has gained planning permission that’s set to change. Our carefully-considered plan is respectful of the period setting and includes two apartments above the optical centre to provide town centre living space. Alfreton planners are clearly up with the trend… Towns and cities throughout the UK are now recognising the need to give their centres a life beyond retail once again.

In Georgian times, many people would have made their homes in the buildings at the heart of Alfreton’s bustling town centre.
